family pictures on a freezing day

This photo shoot was interesting, to say the least. We'd had it scheduled for about a month, after several failed attempts, but when the appointed day arrived, it was cold. However, they were willing to take a chance, so I was too. The family would keep their coats on while I arranged them, then throw them off, I would snap the picture, and they would hurriedly reassume their warm wear. By the end of the shoot it was snowing; we had to stop when noses turned noticeably pink. But for all that, we got some good pictures.
