j&h, July 19, 2008 - early previews
So in an effort to be a better blogger, I'm going to actually post photos instead of just sending you over to look at the set. We'll see how long my newfound resolution lasts.
Jason and Heather got married on Saturday the 19 at her church (I think) in Millsboro. The day was sunny, clear, and in the upper nineties. Needless to say, we didn't take many outdoor formals. The ceremony was lovely; Heather was a gorgeous, relaxed bride, and the reception, at the only vineyard in the state of Delaware, was a blast. All in all, it was a super-fun wedding.
The church was beautiful inside and out.

Don't the shoes look ready to get up and dance?

isn't she lovely?

There was a balcony in the church, and we had way too much fun using it.

The flower girl was a little older that usual, but she was super-cute and fun to shoot. As you can see. The ring bearer was adorable, as well.

The reception was at a vineyard, like I said, so the light was amazing.

At this wedding we did something a little different for us, and brought along an assistant. Rose is interested in photography, and just bought her first digital SLR (Nikon! Woo!) so we thought it might be a good chance for her to see what she's getting into. She got this shot, which I think is pretty much perfect.

I absolutely love their faces here.

And the sort of image that is worth braving 97 degrees for:

Don't you agree?
Heather and Jason, thanks so much for letting us photograph your wedding! You were an absolute delight to work with.
