sometimes I feel like I married into the middle of a photo shoot

So as we drove out to Ohio Friday night, I decided that we needed to get a recent picture of all the kids and I'll have it enlarged and framed as a father's day gift. After much finagling of wardrobe to get things semi-coordinated, we drove down to Bolivar Dam and took these. I think they prove the advice I give to all aspiring photograpers: be born or marry into a photogenic family so you can build an amazing portfolio.








After we did the kids pics, I took a few of the oldest brother-in-law and his ridiculously adorable girlfriend. I love how most of these turned out.

Thursday afternoon le husband and I headed out to take senior photos for Rose. This is the first shoot on which I asked him to take the lead, and I had a blast being an accessory instead of the main event. Rose was a trooper, and did just about anything with an amazing smile. We think she looks like a young Eva Mendes. You?

Of the photos below, half were taken by me, and half by le husband. I processed them all for consistency, but I still love the differences in style.
