at last! sneak peek for j&s

So when I first met with this couple, I knew J and I were going to be friends: she and I were both wearing primary-colored trench coats. It only got better from there!
The wedding for these two is going to be at an opera house, so for their engagement shoot they decided to take me back to where they got engaged: Alexandria, Virginia. I've posted a few of my favorite photos, and the full slideshow is at the bottom.

photo of the day: nose kisses

The rest of these images will be ready soon (hopefully today), but I had to share this image. I lovelove asking people to kiss on the nose; there's something so intimate about it. You don't do nose kisses unless it's someone you really trust.

the wedding of j&a

This is the couple where everything went wrong at their engagement shoot. But they kept smiling and laughing, and we ended up with some amazing photos. So I knew this was going to be a GREAT wedding to end the year with, and it SO WAS.
The bride is from a family of girls, which I love of course, and the groom surrounded himself with his brothers and football buddies. The guys went shooting, the girls had homemade cinnamon rolls, and everyone danced like there was no tomorrow. In addition, there was a chocolate fountain, smith island cake, a cookie bar, and a party bus. It doesn't get much better than this!

The guys had a blast with the skeet shooting.

J is a total ham, and so is the ringbearer. AWESOME.

I personally think this is a great way to deal with boredom!

mmmmm, homemade. So, so good.

There were a few wrinkles with the reception setup. Hehe. (Sorry, couldn't resist the pun.)
